After many journeys, across prairies, over desert mesas and arroyos, into thick smoky mountain woodlands,  the reality of the callings remains...
The winds of Dine' Bikeyah call, no matter how many visits it takes us to get there.
The shadowlands with its outcasts and subcultures still need tending...

Thus Shadow Cross Refuge is born, here on our Foxtrail Hollow Ranch... Where a Western Cowboy and a Western Goth tend to God's creation,  and seek to help our brothers and sisters along the trail.

"He makes me lie down in meadows of green healing herbs;
He leads me to peaceful, still, restoring waters." ~ Psalms 23:2

As this trail has brought Morria training in natural health and herbal medicine, we now seek to offer ministry that connects others to the tools of healing which our God made for us.  How this will look is unsure, currently, but be watching as the side of ministry grows as God leads.

Our devo (Evermore Devos) has been going strong for the past few years, and we will get the past posts, as many as still exist, live here too, plus every Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Monsoon, post the past few months' Devos, for future reference.

Summer 2024, we were able to take a full round of back-to-school backpacks out to Dine Bikeyah, and from here the Antoich Backpack program will continue to grow...  

We will also be doing various outreaches among the subcultures, including the Western/Cowboy cultures, along with the more underground cultures.

Pray for us as we seek to be His Lights... in this dark and dying world!

Greetings from the Shadowlands! October has seen the start of Shadow Cross Refuge sinking its roots back into the ground, with the setting up of our office, an 8 X 12? space, with a storage closet perfect for the Antioch Backpacks.  We were blessed to already have a small daybed, desk, and a few spare shelves to go into the office.  We lack a few lamps, and then it will be a set space. It is our prayer that from here we will grow, and once on our permanent site, expand the outreaches.

  Standing in the Darkness You said the dark times would come... That persecution, hatred, and violence would be against us. You said the World would not understand us. You called us to walk in Your steps... That suffering would be part of our lot... But You promised Your peace would go with us. You said we would be Your lights in the darkness. That we would shine the Good News to the ends of the World... That the enemy would not get to rejoice if we fall... Because you are our Light. So to You, Jesus, we cry in these darkened times... Be our Light, and help us to shine for You, This Day, this Night, and Evermore.
